As soon as I heard about this spot I pulled up!! A homie of mine messaged me saying he just left this nice new spot on Branch avenue, & I should check it out. I looked them up, I pulled up!! LET’S GO!! . Where I am: @yellowbunkitchen . Location Reviewed: 3421 Branch Avenue Temple Hills M.D. . Items Reviewed: LIKE THAT!! Their Customizable Steak n Cheese ($12 with seasoned ribeye, grilled onions, American, & provolone cheeses, green, & red peppers). This caught me off guard!! Cheesy, a high quality protein, & flavorful!! STAMP!! Their Crab Cake Sandwich ($16 market price, with shrimp $9 extra, total $25 with lettuce, tomato, & house made remoulade). A tasty cake!! With super juicy shrimp on top!! STAMP!! Their Pulled Pork Sandwich ($9 with an 8 hour marinated pork, house made slaw, pickled onions, & their house made Carolina bbq sauce). We need a really good pulled pork sandwich in this area…this is it!! STAMP!! Their Hand Cut Potato Wedges ($3 hand cut, seasoned with jalapeno crema, vegan avocado mayonnaise, & their remoulade). Thick, crispy, & well seasoned dip these in that crema!! STAMP!! Their Mississippi Mud Pie ($6 with a graham cracker base, whipped cream, a fudge brownie, & chocolate mousse on top). The owner Shawn is a delight, creating a community atmosphere by his mere presence. The food was delicious. We got the chicken gnocchi soup, crab cake sandwich, BLT, Tuna Melt, and BBQ chicken sandwich. Even my picky eaters didn’t complain. I wish there was room for more tables so people could enjoy more of what this place brings in community bonding opportunities. But even those who came in for a pick up order were welcomed and loved.

The Marylander Grilled Crab Cake Sandwich was delicious i usually don't like crab cake sandwiches because they're usually too mushy but this was delicious and a nice proportion. The bread and lettuce was fresh and the chicken steak and Oven Baked Potato Wedges were made as if i made it at home myself. I would definitely order again! I also got a cupcake on the house since it was my first visit.

Food is fresh, the pulled pork sandwich is enough for more than one serving. Meat was tender and nicely marinated. The strawberry salad was so good and fresh. Will be coming back.

Yellow Bun is awesome. The food is really good and the customer service and friendliness is unmatched. Today I tried the Maryland Crab soup which I've never tasted before. I'm more of a cream of crab soup person but this was good and I'd get it again. I also had the loaded baked potato with salmon. It was a big portion, with plenty of salmon. Very good. I especially liked the jalapeño creme on top.Spicy without killing me. Lastly, I tried some of their popular desserts. The vintage choc. spoon cake, the Mississippi mud pie and the banana pudding. Each was delicious, my family loved them but my fav. was the chocolate spoon cake. I'm looking forward to going back to Yellow Bun so I can try some of the other options on the menu. Thanks so much for everything today. Ohh, and they're working on some vegan icecream options as well. Can't wait!

I ordered the Texas pulled pork sandwich. Delicious..the meat overfloweth! You dann near need a whole other bun so you can make ANOTHER sandwich. Only thing I would ask for is some BBQ sauce to go! This is all I tried today but rest assured I will be back to try more! Customer service on point. Wait wasn't too long. I would probably call my order in next time. Keep up the good work Yellow Bun!!

I finally got the chance to try Yellow Bun & Chocolate Kitchen after seeing them on TikTok some time ago, and I am so glad I did. I ordered the Marylander Grilled Crab Cake Sandwich, and it was incredible. The crab cake was seasoned perfectly, packed with real crab meat, and cooked just right with that beautiful golden crust. No fillers, just flavor. I also tried the Mississippi Mud Pie for dessert and it was absolutely amazing. Rich, creamy, and just the right balance of sweetness and chocolate. A true treat that made the meal complete. The customer service stood out just as much as the food. The team was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Indiae, who helped me, was incredibly sweet and engaging. She made the experience even better with her positive energy and attentiveness. This is the kind of customer service everyone should be aiming for. Yellow Bun & Chocolate Kitchen is doing it right in every way. If you’ve been thinking about trying them, do yourself a favor and go. I left genuinely happy and full, and I’ll definitely be back.

Yellow bun is a black-owned.Must try spot. Off the brake, the customer service was amazing. As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted by the cashier. /hostess and the owner of the shop who is actually cooking. The food is smell great and here. The food presentation is 1000% and the atmosphere of the shop, The music is a whole vibe. This place will have you coming back just from the excellent customer service alone.
